ReplyDeleteDear Kian,
ReplyDeleteAlan and Justine wonder if they might visit again this Saturday to help put Miranda through her PT paces and then take you for lunch somewhere nearby? Please let us know if the proposed plan suits you.
Coming to terms with the consequences of the terrible insult Miranda suffered to her brain we understand is excruciating for you. We support you and your decisions throughout.
Best wishes,
Alan and Justine

ReplyDeleteHi Lionel, just received a request for the MGS alumni to visit at home on Mondays 3-4pm and Wednesdays 11am-noon. Also noticed that many may have thot the schedules only apply for hospital visits. Does Elaine and Irene who lives nearby and could drop in anytime need a schedule? Maybe.
ReplyDeleteRough Daily sequence of care-giving (visits can be made during feeding and stimulation)
ReplyDelete6am First Feed (6 liquid feeds a day at 3-hourly intervals) - you can still talk to her.

10.20-11 am Shower and colostomy bag management (no visitors)
Noon: 3rd feed and rest 1 hour before getting on wheelchair for some sunlight
1pm-4pm or 5pm: Wheelchair time and stimulation (feed at 3pm and 6pm)
